I’ve come to realize, that the one thing that can make trans-oceanic flights excruciating is sinus pressure and headaches. But today I’ve discovered something that can make that even worse: food poisoning. I don’t know what I ate, but it sure got to me, and at 40,000 feet no less.
On the road again. I’m on a call at the University of Washington this week. The lab I’m working in uses their microscope to look at the dust taken from a comet in outer-space. It’s an interesting concept: astronomers using a microscope to look at comets.
