The air is thick with humidity and smog. Traffic is a mess. You can hear the honking, from the sea of mopeds, 8 stories up. Sanitation is hit or miss and you can’t drink the tap water.
South East Asia, I love it.
I’m setting out today on a bit of a travel saga. This morning, I’m flying from Amsterdam, NL, to Frankfurt, Germany, and then from Frankfurt to Portland, OR.
I’ll have about 12 hours at home this weekend before I’m off to the airport again.
Sunday I’m flying to Narita, Japan. With the time change, I’ll get there Monday afternoon and then spend the night. The next morning I’ll be back on another plane and headed to Hanoi, Vietnam.
So, a few airmiles this week.
