I got home yesterday from my first business trip. Business trips can be exhausting, but this one has left me invigorated and excited to get back to work.

I spent the week down in Austin, TX, working with service engineers in the area on some different electron microscopes. It was a treat to get a chance to learn from some amazing people. These guys have a whole lot of experience and are great at what they do. I learned a lot in the short time that I was there.

I don’t know how long I’ll be staying in the Portland area before I’m on the road again. With any luck I should be helping out with an install up in Seattle, WA, next week.
