After a quick trip up to Chicago we’re back in Cedar Rapids. We’re spending the week here poking around and packing up. I’ve got one more week of class and then we’re starting our trip back to Oregon. It’s going to be fun trip, we’ll have a great chance to visit friends and family along the way.
Beth is coming in and I’ve gone to pick her up. We found a good deal on a one way ticket to Chicago, so I’m just going to drive up and meet her. Of course while we’re there we’ll take advantage of the shopping, food, and museums that Chicago has to offer. One show that we are really excited about is the traveling King Tut exhibit that is currently at the field museum. Apparently, this is the first time some of the items in this collection have ever left Egypt, so Beth getting to see me on her trip is probably just some pleasant collateral.
