I’m a little road weary these days. My bike could use a tune-up and my boots a good scrub. All told this summer I think I traveled upwards of 20,000 miles; 6,000 of them on the back of a motorcycle. It’s amazing how much the time with my own thoughts has calmed me. When you’re on a bike on the highway, the wind is so loud that you loose your voice after a couple hours of singing into your helmet without really noticing it. I can’t wait to get on the road again next summer; the black hills are calling.
