It’s going on 2 weeks now and the tank is still full of water! I’ve been too worn out to post during the week because of a few projects going on here.
It was a big project, but the tank has been re-sealed, the wood stained, the stand built, and all the sand and gravel has been added. It took 300 lbs of sand and more than 500 lbs of rock to finally look right, but I think it really turned out great.
There are a lot of plants in there that will take some time to grow in, but in the next couple months and years, I think it’s going to really look phenomenal.
I’m starting the series here again courtesy of Kyle Mangan. Look forward to a new comic from him every Wednesday for the next few months.
On Saturday Beth and I went out and had a great time at the 7th annual Seattle Ska Fest 2010 – Ska Summit. I’ve posted a bunch of pics here from the night.
