6th floor please.

The lift has been broken in the physics building here for the last couple days. I don’t know how keen I am about getting back on it today though; it keeps resting on floor 6. As far as I can tell, we don’t actually have 6 floors in this building.

There has been lots of activity here on the site in the last couple days. I’ve been updating some of my pages and convincing/coercing friends and family into moving their online journals to the site. So, if you are interested in starting a journal, or know anyone who is, I’ve got lots of cheap space that is free to you.

My goal with this site is to really create a community. We’ll see how well that goes, I have a feeling that it is going to entirely depend on how much effort I put into bringing people together. But I hope that doesn’t have to be the case all the time. My dream is that this place will reach some sort of critical mass, where when I leave for my various travels it’ll keep going in my absence.

You may or may not have noticed (or even cared to look) that I have unlocked this front page. Hopefully this will be helpful in getting features that are used more often brought to the front of people’s attention. Of course, I am always open to putting up new sections (or having other people add new sections) and any better organization can never hurt.

(Oh, and keep an eye out for [[User:Krys Sigafoos|Krys']] up and coming partner site that’ll be tied in somewhere around here.)

First one leg…

Is it a bad thing when you choose your clothes every day based on how well they will work as a towel the next?

Next time I come to England maybe I’ll just bring my own towel.
